What it does
Arm it, launch, and the run is detected, timed and analysed hands-free.
GPS gives you position, the accelerometer fills the gaps between fixes. Together they resolve the moments a satellite-only app misses. Barometric altitude for real elevation, and a live readiness indicator so you know when the signal is good enough to launch.
Each run comes back with a tip drawn from your own data — grip, launch, where the time actually went. The "what if" analysis shows the time you would have set with a clean launch, so you know whether to blame the driver or the car.

Straight answers
The app fuses GPS with the accelerometer to produce readings between satellite fixes, which is more precise than GPS alone. Accuracy still depends on signal quality, your device's sensors and the conditions on the day. Treat the numbers as good estimates, not laboratory measurements — comparing your own runs against each other, under similar conditions, is where the app is at its most useful.
The longer answer, including what a dedicated box genuinely does better, is in Dragy alternative: can a phone really replace a $150 performance box?
No. Your history is stored only on your device. There is no cloud sync and no account system, which means that if you delete the app or move to a new phone, your runs do not come with you. Cloud backup is the most requested feature and it is on the roadmap. In the meantime, exporting a run to CSV keeps every data point.
Yes. Pick the motorcycle vehicle profile and you also get lean angle tracking alongside peak lateral and longitudinal G. Cars, karts, trucks, UTVs and bicycles are supported too.
Your runs, routes and history stay on your device. Location leaves the phone only to enrich a run you just recorded — fetching the weather and the name of the place. There are no accounts and no cross-app tracking. The details are in the Guides Privacy Policy.
The app discards runs it cannot stand behind: a false start, or a run that never really left the line. If GPS accuracy drops mid-run you get a warning on screen instead — the run is kept, but you know the time is questionable. This is deliberate: a saved time you cannot trust is worse than no time at all.
It is built and in the final stages before submission. The Android app is available today on Google Play.

Free on Google Play. Roughly two minutes from download to your first timed run.
Measure responsibly. Use private property, a closed track or a legal drag strip. Never time a run on a public road, and always obey local speed limits. The driver is responsible for the driving — the app only holds the stopwatch.
