Need help, found a bug, or want to request a feature?
Email alpetraapps@gmail.com. I read every message and usually reply within two business days.

To help me help you faster, please include your device model, your OS version, and — if it is about a specific run — roughly when it happened.

Getting started

The timer will not arm. What is wrong?

The app waits for the GPS signal to be good enough before it lets you launch. This is deliberate: arming on a weak signal produces times that look precise and are not.

Check the GPS readiness indicator on the main screen. If it will not turn ready:

My run did not get recorded.

The app automatically discards runs it cannot stand behind. The most common reasons are a false start (movement before the real launch), a run that never actually left the line, or GPS accuracy dropping mid-run.

This is intentional — a saved time you cannot trust is worse than no time at all.

How do I measure 0-60 mph instead of 0-100 km/h?

Switch the unit to mph in Settings. The speed targets change to imperial values, and 0-60 mph becomes the default target. Both 0-30 and 0-60 mph are available for free.

Your data

Is my run history backed up?

No. Your history is stored only on your device. There is currently no cloud sync and no account system.

This means that if you delete the app, reset your device, or move to a new phone, your runs do not come with you. I would rather tell you this up front than have you discover it later.

If you want to keep your data, use the CSV export: open a run and export it. Every recorded data point is included.

Cloud backup is the most requested feature and it is on the roadmap.

Where does my location data go?

Your runs, routes and history stay on your device. Location leaves the device only in two cases, both to enrich a run you just recorded: to fetch weather conditions, and to look up the name of the place where the run happened.

The app has no accounts, shows no advertising, and does no cross-app tracking. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Accuracy

How accurate is it?

The app fuses GPS with the accelerometer to produce readings between satellite fixes, which is more precise than GPS alone. Accuracy still depends on satellite signal quality, your device's sensors, and the conditions on the day.

Treat the numbers as good estimates, not laboratory measurements. Comparing your own runs against each other, under similar conditions, is where the app is at its most useful.

Why is my time different from a dedicated performance box?

Different hardware, different antennas, different sampling. Expect small differences. Consistency between your own runs matters more than matching another device exactly.

Subscription

What is included in Pro?

Every speed target plus your own custom targets, the full race analysis screen, run comparison, the route map, personal records, and 20 additional themes.

Timing your runs and building your history is free.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are billed by the app store you bought from, and are cancelled there — not inside the app.

If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you are not charged.

I paid but Pro is not unlocked.

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same account you purchased with. If that does not work, email me with your approximate purchase date and I will sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the app store, not by me. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use the Google Play order history. If a refund is refused and you believe it was unfair, write to me anyway.

Safety

Performance testing involves acceleration and speed and can be dangerous.
